Pomelo’s are the worlds largest sized citrus fruit! The fruit are often mistaken for a super-sized grapefruit but inside the flesh is sweet and fragrant.
They are prolific bearers and taste refreshing and delicious. Because of the size of the fruit, each segment of pomelo is generally several mouthfuls. The skin and pith should be peeled off thoroughly before eating.
The divine fragrance of the pomelo flower is like a cross between orange and sherbert. They make a unique and unusual addition to the home orchard.
