The grafted Dwarf Golden Dorsett Apple has similarities with the Golden Delicious, however its yellow/green skin also often ends up with a pink blush in places. It has a lovely crisp, sweet and refreshing flavour.

It’s a low-chill variety ideally suited to growing in South East Queensland and generally starts fruiting within 2-3 years. They are a semi-deciduous tree, so will often shed all or most of their leaves in Winter. They benefit from being in a protected sunny position.

Growing to a height of between 2 - 3.5 metres, this beautiful apple tree can be comfortably kept pruned to 1.8 - 2 metres high and 1.5 - 2 metres wide. Ideally suited for those wishing to grow their fruit trees in pots, though is equally suited to planting in the ground.

To produce fruit, the Dwarf Golden Dorsett Apple benefits from a second variety for cross-pollination. Dwarf Anna or Dwarf Tropic Sweet are well-suited partners for Golden Dorsett.

Please contact us if you have any questions about buying this fruit tree.
