The Cat Thom mango is a fragrant Vietnamese selection valued for its excellent eating quality and tropical appeal. Closely related to other “Cat” group mangoes, it is known for producing attractive, medium-sized fruit with smooth yellow flesh and a rich, aromatic sweetness. The flavour is typically well-balanced—sweet with subtle complexity—and the flesh is soft and juicy, making it ideal for fresh eating.

Trees are generally vigorous and productive under warm, frost-free conditions, rewarding growers with reliable crops of high-quality fruit. With its appealing taste, pleasant aroma, and consistent performance, Cat Thom is an excellent choice for home gardeners looking to grow a premium dessert mango with a distinctive Southeast Asian character.
