- First application of fertiliser should be applied 4-6 months of planting
- From then on fertiliser should be applied in small quantities 3 - 4 times a year or as the product you are using directs.
- Regular watering required. Using mulch around the base will help to keep the soil moist but leave a gap of 4-6 inches from the trunk.
