Cobra Tongue is an intriguing mango variety with a distinctive elongated shape and an interesting connection to Thai mango varieties.
The fruit is long and slender, with sweet flesh and relatively little fibre. It can also be enjoyed at different stages of ripeness, with firm green fruit suitable for fresh dishes as well as sweeter, ripe fruit for eating.
Cobra Tongue is a particularly interesting choice for mango collectors or gardeners who enjoy growing varieties that are a little different from the more familiar Australian mangos.
