The Tuong - or ‘Elephant’ mango is a highly sought after variety. Vietnamese in origin, it produces large elongated fruit with a distinctive flavour profile.

It can be eaten as a green mango variety with a crisp fresh flavour and flesh that holds up well for slicing.

Or it can allowed to ripen giving it a light yellow colour and a delicate sweetness and aroma.

The tree is a vigorous and hardy grower, well suited to tropical climates, and valued for its reliable production and adaptability. Xoài Tượng is especially appealing to growers seeking something unique and productive, offering both a strong cultural heritage and eye-catching fruit that stands out in any home orchard.
